Bulo Burde, (insidesomalia.org) - The inhabitants of Bulo Burde town in Hiiraan Region turned up in their hundreds to be addressed by dignitaries from the Union of Islamic Courts and opposition officials.

Following the afternoon prayers, heads of the UIC and ARS addressed the residents of the town and explained the significance struggle against what they described the foe of the Somali people.

They have also explained at length victories they claimed that they had scored in the various regions of the country and the way those who cannot carry a gun can assist in the jihad.

“The residents of Bulo Burde have to be patient and to pray for the holy fighters who were martyred during the fight against the Ethiopians” islamist commander Sheikh Abdullahi told to the residents.

Col Umar Hashi Adan, the secretary general of the re-liberation of Somalia group (ARS) has joined the speech and told the residents that it was everyone's responsibility to take part in the struggle as he said.

Hashi has declared that Somalis have more difficulties from the Ethiopian troops backing Somali interim government in Somalia and he appealed Somali people to be cautious against what he described “traitors and deceives” of the Ethiopian troops.

Asked about whether the ARS officials will stay on in the region he insisted that the importance they came in the region was to encourage the people in Hiran region central Somalia.
